Beliefs & Ethics
Personal Ethic
Moderate transhumanist individualist
- The highest and noblest ideal of man is the striving for godhood. The unbound, unbridled, relentless pursuit to be more, do more, know more, have more and be more able.
- We are basically good.
- Mans state of contentment is freedom to grow.
- Man restricted will cause exponential trouble until rebellion/revolution.
- Man is happiest when active in that which he or she finds meaning, so long as that meaning provides growth.
- The amount of growth needed to not also generate friction and angst is proportionate to his level of power, which also grows (thus, growth).
- No man will stay content forever with a belief system provided to him or her. Everyone must define their own, otherwise one of two paths will be taken: delusion or rebelling.
- Extreme’s are unhealthy and damaging. One should be ever cautious of being trapped by or a puppet of an extreme. Politically far left or right, antisocial or populist socialite, technophile or luddite. All come with damage for self and others that ramps up equal to the amount of people influenced/affected.
- I am a proponent of Objective Truth, but not to the extreme of the exclusion of the understanding that subjective reality is the source of much of our greatest accomplishments and worst ailments. There are two realities existing simultaneously: Group reality made up of all intelligences, and individual reality. Of these, there are two possible dynamics: Objective (what exists in physical reality, what manifests in tangible truth) and Subjective (what one thinks of the objective reality, whether it differs, aka untruth/lies, or it aligns, aka truth/honesty).
- I am a proponent of Individualism, but not in the extreme. Individualism as it stands in contrast to collectivism and debasement of the self, but also stands in cohesion with social organization and progress for the purpose of growing individual opportunity and well being. Objective reality becomes via expression of the individual applying energy to ones dreams and goals; this is the only source.
- Loyalty and integrity to the application and the growth of the best within myself is of paramount importance.
- We humans have a great instinct for brotherhood, except in vacuous groups and collectivism. Only in groups where the individual is allowed to express him/herself with few limitations, not only allowed but encouraged to grow, shine and apply him/herself, will that group be good and pro-survival. When the group becomes focused on the greater good at the expense of self, it quickly devolves into self abasement and even flagellation, and will eventually eat itself alive, taking down some or many with it.
- It’s much easier to pass judgment on a man than on his ideas. This is a large part of the definition of an NPC: i.e. attack the source rather than confront his logic. Basic political ad hominem rhetoric dogma. It’s despicable, debased, and only for those who haven’t figured out how to be an individual, who knows his own honesty, integrity and ethics.
